Its multi-threaded, multi-CPU platform combined with our DSP technology provide the optimised platform to power our core transcode software engine at unprecedented speeds.

As well as media transcoding, IPV’s powerful DSP technology enables other key functions to be carried out during the high speed transcoding process without slowing it down. These include scene detection, logo burn-in and closed-caption metadata ingest.

XCode can also embed additional audio tracks within an existing browse asset and flatten multi-clip media. XCode always provides perfect timecode synchronisation, to ensure frame accuracy and no audio drift, even on extremely long encode tasks.
